Identification & Behavior: ~22 cm (8.6 in). The Black-billed Thrush has dull gray upperparts with a black bill and no eye-ring. The throat is whitish streaked with black. The rest of the underparts are gray with a white center of belly, vent, and undertail coverts. If forages mostly on the ground in semi-open habitats and forest edges. It is similar to the Creamy-bellied Thrush but is distinguished by having a black bill and gray breast and sides of the underparts.
Status: The Black-billed Thrush is common and widespread in Amazonia where it is known to range up to 1200 m along the foothill of the Andes. It also occurs in Co, Ec, Br, and Bo.
