Identification & Behavior: ~180 cm (70.5 in). The Cape Gannet is easily identified by their large size, white plumage with black flight and tail feathers, and distinctive ochre crown and hindneck. Juveniles are dark gray with whitish specks. Underparts are a lighter gray than the upperparts. Also, see Masked Booby and Nazca Booby.
Status: Considered a vagrant species in Peru. Photographed at Macabí Island.
