Identification & Behavior: ~22 cm (8.6 in). The Plumbeous-backed Thrush has blue-gray upperparts and tail. The iris is white. The bill is yellowish. The underparts are creamy-white. The throat is streaked with black. It forages in the canopy and sub-canopy of semi-deciduous forests. The bicolored plumage and pale iris are unmistakeable but see Slaty Thrush.
Status: The Plumbeous-backed Thrush is common in the semi-deciduous forest of extreme northwest Peru where it ranges at elevations of up to 1500 m. It also occurs in Ec.
