Identification & Behavior: 21 cm (8.5 in). The White-edged Oriole is mostly yellow-orange. The bib, back, wings and tail are black. The wings show a yellow bar and a white band on the secondary flight feathers. The outer tail feathers show white on the edges and the tips. The juvenile is a dull version of the adult without yellow on the wing and a reduced bib. It is similar to the Yellow-tailed Oriole but is distinguished by being overall richer yellow or yellow-orange, and by a black tail with white edges on the outer tail feathers.
